那是年二十九的时候，一大早我就隐隐约约听见一阵阵猪的嚎叫声吵醒了。原来我们家正在杀猪，那是为了给我做十岁生日要用的。一整天，只看见爷爷，奶奶，爸爸，妈妈他们都在忙碌着，一会儿杀鸭、一会儿杀鸡……我在一旁都不知要帮什么忙了，问妈妈，妈妈说：“不用了，到时要帮忙再叫你。”
在忙碌中度过了时间，一转眼就到了晚上。开始摆好桌子了，于是我就开始帮忙了，把鸡、鸭、猪头……等等东西，一件一件往桌子上排。看着这满满地东西，不惊感叹起来，心想：为了这个生日，全家都这么用心，购买了这么多东西，真是要谢谢他们！
主持这个的师傅也如约而来了，仪式开始了。只见师傅穿上金黄色的.佛袍，手拿铃铛，嘴上念念有词地说着。我感到很好奇，问妈妈：“这是干什么？”“这是在拜天空，跟天老爷讲今天是你生日，让他保佑你平安，健康等意思”妈妈说。我也被师傅叫着，让我跟在师傅后面，手拿三根香，他拜拜我也要跟着拜拜。在经过有三十分钟的时间，仪式终于完成了。
妈妈端了一碗长寿面跟三个鸡蛋来给我吃，并说让我快快长大，健康，快乐。
